REVOLUTION
REVOLUTION tells the story of a young couple living in Egypt during the 2011 and 2013 revolutions. Joseph is an American journalist on assignment in Cairo. While there he breaks his arm, prompting him to meet Masika, an Egyptian doctor. They quickly fall in love and get married, promising to move to America the second they can.
In the summer of 2013 during a peaceful protest in Rabaa Square the military came in and began shooting.
REVOLUTION explores how people cope with trauma, how they navigate the world after facing death, and how their own actions affect the ones they love.
REVOLUTION premiered at The Tank Theatre in NYC on October 29th 2021 and ran through November 7th.
